Sikandar Release Date
While Salman Khan, AR Murugadoss and Sajid Nadiadwala have still to make an official announcement about the release, it’s seen as 30 March 2025 for advance bookings on international ticketing platforms.
There is controversy regarding the release date because March 30 is a Sunday. Doing the same with Tiger 3 did not click at the box office. An opening weekend must be potent as the content must persuade the audience to watch it over the days. It remains to be seen whether this gamble pays off. On March 29, Sikandar is said to be getting special premieres in the US.

Salman Khan has an Eid release and there are always high expectations associated with whatever he releases. He’s collaborating with the famous director AR Murugadoss who has directed hit films like Ghajini (2008), Kaththi (2014) and Sarkar (2018). The lead actress, Rashmika Mandanna, starred in hits like Pushpa 2 and Chhaava. The pre- result buzz hive is in full swing and things appear to be bright for Sikandar.

Jawan registered the all time biggest advance ticket sales for a Bollywood film in US, collecting a massive 628,729 from tickets sold in advance. A record 41,500 tickets were sold.
Sikandar now will have to not just go past Jawan, but also the USA records for Bollywood cinema.
Sikandar vs Tiger 3
Salman Khan has more than just his film to beat this time around, he is also eyeing the top 10 overseas Bollywood openers of all time. To be #10 for Sikandar, it needs to gross 44.50 crores to come out internationally on its first day.
As of now, the top 5 places are occupied by Jawan (75 crores), Pushpa 2 Hindi (72 crores), Stree 2 (64.80 crores), Animal (63.80 crores) and Pathaan (57 crores) respectively.
Sikandar would need to overtake Pathaan — also a Shah Rukh Khan film — to take a place in the top 5.
Shah Rukh Khan vs Salman Khan
Shah Rukh Khan looks to tie with Salman Khan in terms of the top 10 worldwide grossing films. From Salman this list has only Bajrangi Bhaijaan (915 crores) as of now. In contrast, SRK becomes the only Bollywood actor to have two films, Pathaan and Jawan in top 10.
